The International Grooms Association is looking for members to form ‘IGA Rep groups’ based around the world. The Reps will be IGA members who would like to be more involved in our mission to bring about positive change.
Since the IGA was founded there has been a plan to establish these groups, so that grooms working at FEI events and shows would know where to find a friendly face; now the IGA has reached its Year One anniversary the time has come to establish our Rep groups.
We are looking for people currently working at FEI level, or ex-grooms who are still involved with the sport, for instance working as stable managers at FEI events and shows.
The positions are voluntary, and we ask for a minimal time commitment, as this role is intended to sit alongside grooms’ work; the Reps will communicate with the IGA Coordinators and each mostly through WhatsApp groups.
They will help spread awareness of our positive and collaborative approach to improving grooms’ working conditions and recognition for the crucial role played by grooms within FEI sport.
